Looking at his stats he plays centre half/midfield , sort of Legs/Derry /Mahon maybe this is an option for Shittu if that deal didnt go through , was Shittus deal just going to be until the end of the season ?

No offence. I'd be reluctant to bring in overseas players at this time

I guess it would as an backup to Derry. Like I've said ealier the past year he has been playing as a cendtral defender where he hasn't convinced. For me it sounds crazy to loan this palyer.

How do QPR hear about him? Do we have a rep in Scandanavia or a scout? Or does the agent contact QPR (and who at QPR)

Austin I know, wrong Austin
Norwegian papers today reports that QPR made an official approach to loan Rudolph Austin for the rest of the season. His agent says QPR offered £200.000 with an option to buy in the summer...

Roald Bruun-Hanssen where in Scottland regarding Huseklepp to Celtic when Rudolph's agent approached him with an opportunity to loan him to QPR. Bruun-Hanssen crushed that with a definate no and said it was a typical agent aproach. Further more Brann has never recieved a formal or written approach from QPR.

me hope, me not garantee I think he has a good potential as a midfilder, but I think he needs another year to prove it. I'm not sure why he was played as a defender for the most the past season, might be because Brann lack a central d or they had a better midfilders. if the latter, why are we then interested? We' already signed PVM and brought inn 3 more so his agent didn't see it happening until summer, but then again his an agant. Not to be trusted

www.thereggaeboyz.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=169440"According to agent Philip Graham QPR has not given up on Rudi Austin and will try to get the money together during the summer. QPR had offered to take Rudi Austin on loan with an option to purcahse the player but SK Brann balked and said they were not interested in a loan deal. SK Brann called off the deal when QPR failed to come up with money. Graham says that there are many suitors for Rudi but he will not disclose who they are..... SK Brann is between a rock and a hard place because Rudi's contract is up in 2012 so Brann will have to either raise Rudi's $US400K per year or let him go to the highest bidder............and they are lining up. If Rudi fails to sign a new deal SK Brann gets nothing and Rudi becomes a Bosman player. Seems as if QPR is playing the waiting game......

Hi Harlow, Can only confirm the post above. It's what the agent claims and that's not worth much to me. I belive he needs to perform another year in our leauge playing midfield before he should be considered.

Hehe. Well I know there others that have better knowledge about this than me, but if any I would look for Markus Henriksen a midfielder for Rosenborg who had his breakthrough last season scoring 7 in the leauge, 3 inn the Champions league qualifications and one in the European league against Athletico Madrid. MOM several times and woted Last years Young Player of the Year.
18 years old and if he continues where he left off last year he should have plenty of offers come summer, I belive.

We have a very good and young striker currently playing in Holland. His Name is Markus Pedersen and he is 19 years old. He´s got a lethal finish and were amongst our topscorers in the Norwegian league last season. His club Vitesse Arnhem. (well known for their good work with talented players) I should believe he would be able to adapt to the english style quite quickly. A great prospect for the future(obviously). Physically very strong for his age.

Well if we're travelling down that road I would mention Moa. Last years top scorer with 14 until he was sold to Hannover in the middel of the season. He was wanted on trial at ManU two seasons ago, but he felt he was to good for trial so he took another year in Norway. He was compared to Solkjaer for his finnishing abilities. Already a home fan in Hannover, just back from a couple of months with an injury. Scored 5 in 15 so far. Check wekapedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammed_AbdellaoueI wouldn't mind him on the team, nor would I mind Pedersen, but since theire both abroad already I don't think they're gonna come to us this summer even if we go up. Or is it when we go up You also have Anthony Ujah in my home team Lillestrom. 20 year old nigerian, striker apperently now in talks with Mallorca. A bit of a suprise to me. He wasn't a regular last year, but that was due to some injuries. Very strong, technical player. Has good finishing abilities, but still I would have thought he would need to play one more year to prove he can deliver the whole year. On another note: Leeds tickets aquired, can't wait
