Mirror - Roman Abramovich and Chelsea FC 21/02/2009
In our article “Roman ‘set to sell’” on 18 January we reported suggestions that Roman Abramovich’s representatives had been in talks to find potential buyers for Chelsea FC, and also reported statements made by Chelsea the day before confirming that Mr Abramovich was not looking to sell his interest in the Club.
We did not mean to suggest that Mr Abramovich or Chelsea had lied or misled the public, and we are happy to make this fact clear.
