After a spending all day on the phone Ian Holloway has finally admitted defeat in his quest to bring in a loan signing.
The deadline for bringing in loan players is set at 5pm on Thursday evening, after that time no players can be brought in until the January transfer window.
Holloway said: "We have tried every Premiership club, but there was no-one available. We almost got a kid called Danny Graham from Middlesbrough but he chose to go to Derby County instead.
"There was money in the pot to bring someone in but sadly it just didn't come off for us."
