QUEENS PARK RANGERS VERSUS PRESTON NORTH END
Preston North End finish off a busy week in the transfer market by travelling to Loftus Road to take on
the richest club in the Championship.[/u]
Following Friday night's defeat, manager Darren Ferguson has acted swiftly and brought in Ritchie De Laet, Michael Tonge and Danny Pugh on emergency loans to add numbers and experience to his North End squad.
This experience will be vital for the Lilywhites who go down to take on a side who are unbeaten at home in the Championship and are currently sitting just one point off of leaders Cardiff City.
In fact, Rangers are yet to lose a game in the league this season but North End have been looking good away from home and will offer a stern test for Warnock's men after bringing in reinforcements during the week.
Darren Ferguson admitted that Callum Davidson will miss the trip to Loftus Road after picking up a groin injury against Hull City on Friday night.
Paul Coutts looks set to miss the trip as well; however, Ferguson will welcome the three new recruits into the side for the game against QPR.
One blow for Ferguson is that Keith Treacy will miss the game through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season after coming on as a substitute against Hull City.

QPR striker Patrick Agyemang has made 11 appearances for the R's this season, all of which have come from the substitutes bench.
Rangers' number 19 moved to Loftus Road from Preston North End in January 2008 and put pen-to-paper on a four-and-a-half year deal.
Agyemang joined North End in 2004 from Gillingham and chipped in with goals although many of his appearances for the Lilywhites were made coming on from the substitutes bench.
One of the most exciting players currently playing outside of the Premier League in England is Adel Taarabt.
The midfielder signed for Neil Warnock's side on a permanent basis at the beginning of this season after having previous loan spells at Loftus Road.
The Moroccan has already notched six goals this season and is very much seen as the one who pulls the strings for Rangers, with the playmaker already claiming seven assists to his name.
Taarabt's all round ability going forward is what has caused many concerns for defenders visiting West London and QPR's number seven will most definitely be the one to watch from our opponents.
The trip to Loftus Road that pne.com have highlighted ahead of Saturday's match is North End's 2-0 victory against the R's in November 2005.
The midweek contest saw Preston pick up the impressive victory against QPR with two second half goals.
Preston's first came courtesy of striker David Nugent who scored with his first touch after coming off of the bench for Adam Nowland.
The Lilywhites' second came after Callum Davidson ran through Rangers' defence in the 85th minute before coolly slotting the ball past Simon Royce.
Saturday afternoon's man in the middle is Mr David Phillips.
This will be Phillips' first time officiating a Preston North End fixture with the referee rarely going north of the Midlands to take charge of a game.
Phillips has refereed one Championship game this season between Millwall and Reading, and the referee has dished out five red cards in the past two seasons.
The last game that Phillips took charge of was on the 13th November between Gillingham and Crewe Alexandra.
