Former England full-back Mike Pejic suspended by Ipswich Town after bullying allegationsBy Mel Henderson 15th November 2010 Ipswich Town youth coach Mike Pejic has been suspended by the club amid allegations of bullying.Former England full-back Pejic, 60, only joined up at Portman Road in June after three years in a similar role at Plymouth. It is understood Pejic departed towards the end of last week after a number of youth players threatened a walk-out because of alleged victimisation of a colleague.Ipswich have so far refused to comment but are likely to issue a statement later today. Pejic spent the majority of his playing career with home-town club Stoke City, making his debut in the 1968-69 season, and he was a member of the side that won the club’s only major honour, the League Cup, in 1972. Two years later he was capped four times by England then he went on to play for Everton and Aston Villa before a pelvic injury forced him to retire in 1980. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1329985/Former-England-Mike-Pejic-suspended-Ipswich-Town-bullying-allegations.html
