So we'll see where they end up Watford Official Site
CLUB STATEMENT: SARACENS Wed 10 Nov 2010 WATFORD FOOTBALL CLUB would like to inform its supporters that Saracens will leave Vicarage Road after June 2011. The Hornets will exercise fully the break clause option invoked in the summer, which gave its rugby union tenants a year's notice on their usage of Vicarage Road. "We originally presented Saracens with a September 3 deadline to make a decision about their future after June 2011," said Watford FC's Chairman Graham Taylor. "Despite this deadline not being met, I believe we have shown understanding, empathy and no little patience in wanting to conclude this matter in the best interest of both parties - and, of course, with supporters of both clubs in mind. "With Saracens now seriously pursuing another option, as they've explained today, we feel the time is now right to provide some definition and clarity, particularly to our fans," added Taylor. "We're very comfortable with our decision and its timing. "Now we want to push forward with the plans we have been starting to formulate that explore revenue streams open to us once Saracens are no longer here. "The development of Vicarage Road into a stadium of which we can all be proud remains our key focus." The rugby club first played at Watford's Vicarage Road Stadium in 1997. Everyone at Watford FC would like to wish Saracens all good fortune and success as they continue to plan for their future. www.watfordfc.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10400~2215285,00.html
