KEY DATES REVEALEDPosted on: 09.11.2010 Nothing ever stops here at the Football League headquarters. The current season is only a third of the way gone but planning and preparations are already well underway for the next campaign. The 2010/11 campaign will kick off on Saturday August 6th, with the Carling Cup getting underway just days later, during the week commencing August 8th. The Johnstone's Paint Trophy kicks off at the end of August, with the Round 1 ties taking place during the week commencing the 29th. As always Christmas and the New Year will be a busy period, where the games in quick succession can go a long way to making or breaking a club's season. The traditional Boxing Day matches will go ahead a usual and will be followed by games on the 31st of December and January 2nd 2012. The New Year brings with it the first of the finals, with the Carling Cup Final taking place on Sunday February 26th. The Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final takes place four weeks later on Sunday March 25th. The league season's then draw to a close with the final round of Championship matches taking place during the weekend of 28th/29th April, with League's 1 and 2 finishing a week later during the weekend of 5th / 6th of May.
