Good luck to him if it happens. AMAZING how fickle people are!
Goal.com - Real Madrid's Arjen Robben A Serious Doubt For Racing Santander Clash The Dutch international has the flu and could be out of the match on
Real Madrid could be without their most influential player of recent games when they take on Racing Santander this weekend.
AS reports that, Dutch winger, Arjen Robben, is suffering from the flu, and looks to be a serious doubt for the game at the Bernabeu.
Robben did not train yesterday and has not done so today due to the condition, meaning that he will probably not play against Racing, unless he recovers quickly.
Whilst Robben is a doubt, Christoph Metzelder and Pepe have been working in the gym for the last couple of days as they try to build themselves up to full fitness.
Youngster Dani Parejo, who returned from his loan spell at Queens Park Rangers before Christmas, could be in line for a start against Racing, as he seems to have recovered from his knee injury.
Indeed, the only definite casualty for the game is Guti, who is still injured, and should continue to be replaced in midfield by Lassana Diarra.
The others news is that Julien Faubert could make his Real Madrid debut, especially if Robben is not fit to play from the start.
The Frenchman joined the Spanish side last weekend from West Ham United, and if Robben is out, he could well start on the right side of midfield.

Amazing! He couldn't buy a start for us but is going to start for Real Madrid? Does that mean we have a stronger squad than Real Madrid? ;D

Parejo Interviewed
"I'm living out my dream" David R. Anchuelo Parejo sees his first team debut drawing near Realmadrid.com
Daniel Parejo left England and is now living out his dream as a player for Real Madrid's first team. Having made a full recovery from injury, the midfielder is now ready to debut.
Is your dream close to being fulfilled?
Yes. My dream was always to play for Real Madrid, and I see that day fast approaching. I have to work hard and I hope this dream stays intact for many years to come.
Was your childhood dream to play for the first team?
Just like any kid who likes this sport, playing for Real Madrid is the greatest thing that can happen.
What was your experience like in England?
It was a great experience. It helped me improve as a footballer and a person. Leaving Spain for another country was a hard decision, but my family helped me a lot and so did my new teammates. It was great. I am proud of the time I Spent there.
The same day the official photo was taken, there was another taken of all the youth teamers together.
It's an unforgettable photo. There are many youth teamers now playing for the first team, and that in itself is a triumph for Real Madrid.
Do you still see your former Castilla teammates?
I try to watch them every chance I get and I am happy to do so. They're having a great year and have a good chance of being promoted.
What was the best moment of your career?
Winning the Euro with the national team was unforgettable.
And the worst?
I had a really bad arm injury for three months.
The key to making it to the first team?
Pushing yourself to the limit. You have to be willing to sacrifice, train hard and have a little luck.
What do you remember most about your stint in the academy?
They were great years during which I won many titles. Time flew, but that's normal and I am very happy.
Can the team catch Barcelona?
Of course. Two years ago they held a nine-point lead and we managed to catch up. I am sure we can this year, too.

Parejo ended up NOT playing as Real Madrid won their seventh successive game
Real Madrid official Site -
Real Madrid 1-0 Racing Santander Seventh straight victory
Real Madrid took their seventh straight victory against Racing Santander at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium thanks to Higuain and a very solid defence. The Argentine netted his 13th league strike and the defensive line conceded no goals. Iker Casillas played his 454th clash with the team.
The strenght of Real Madrid's defence is beginning to be overwhelming; they are the least scored upon team in the league so far in 2009, conceding only one goal in their last seven games. They worked hard to defend against Racing, who had won five games as a visiting side and have scored more goals from set pieces than any other team in the championship.
Racing put a lot of pressure on Real Madrid from the start and looked to surprise them in attack through Lacen and Colsa's work in midfield. Aware that this would happen, Juande lined up Lass, Van de Vaart and Sneijder in midfield. Rafael served the team's first chance with a free-kick that Ramos finished off, but the defender's shot wasn't on target (10').
Lass became increasingly important thanks to his wise distribution of the ball; his opponents could do nothing to stop him. His excellent job allowed the team to have three consecutive dangerous ventures in attack (12'). The Dutch forward served a cross into the box that found no one to finish it off. Keeper Toño then cleared a strong shot of his with the right foot. Finally, Sneijder pased the ball to Van der Vaart, whose lob was cleared by the keeper. Rául also had a chance in the final minutes of the first half when a header of his missed the mark by inches.
Higuain scores; Faubert makes debut It only took Higuain three minutes into the second half to score the team's goal. He made great use of an assist served by Raul with his head and beat Toño with a crossed shot. Racing seemed to be in a state of shock and Real Madrid used this to try to score another strike. Pepe surprised the visitors with a powerful sprint. He passed the ball to Higuain, who shot on target again, but Toño cleared the ball with his right leg. Coach Muñiz was forced to replace Lacen and Tchite with Toni Moral and Luccin.
Faubert came on for Robben because Juande wanted to try to surprise Racing down the right wing. Javi Garcia and Marcelo also came on. In the end, Real Madrid won their seventh straight victory, no doubt the best present for Iker Casillas, who today caught up with his idol Paco Buyo by playing his 454th game with the first team.
