have been meaning to ask, I saw in the factiods about QPR section of the Ipswich programme that QPR got a mench in the hit US sitcom in the 1970s.
I have never heard this before, or If I have I had completely forgot.
Can anyone elaborate in this?

the english used to import Lime for building and disposal of corpses to new york in the early 19th century. It was a term coined by the dockers about the english.

The episode was first shown in Jan 1978, so us winning the cup wouldn't have been ludicrous but I guess they picked us because we had a funny name
