QPR include Kyle Walker in their squad after his arrival on loan from Spurs as cover for Bradley Orr and Peter Ramage, who picked up injuries at the weekend. Deadline-day signing Rob Hulse is still out with an Achilles problem. MATCH PREVIEW Two of the Championship's three unbeaten sides meet at Portman Road in what promises to be a real test of their promotion credentials. After back-to-back clean sheets, Ipswich face the leaders and top scorers. QPR have netted 14 goals already this season and have had a whopping 74 attempts on goal - more than any other side in the division. Rangers staged a late fightback to snatch a draw at Derby and had to be patient on Saturday, before scoring three times in 10 second-half minutes to see off Middlesbrough. But they have tended to start well this term, with six of their goals coming in the first half. Ipswich, on the other hand, have not netted before the 50th minute and are one of only two teams yet to score a Championship goal in the first half. They will replace Rangers at the top of the table if they win and Cardiff lose at Leicester. Town need to be ruthless tonightBy Carl Marston Tuesday, 14 September, 2010 www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-town/town_need_to_be_ruthless_tonight_1_648193ROY Keane believes that both QPR and Cardiff City will be in the promotion shake-up at the end of the season. ROY Keane believes that both QPR and Cardiff City will be in the promotion shake-up at the end of the season. But the question remains - will Ipswich Town be up there with them? This week should go some way towards answering that question. Town entertain league leaders QPR tonight, before hosting second-placed Cardiff on Saturday. Keane has no problem in pinpointing the strengths of the top two. The common factor is “goals.” Town have to match their ruthless streak to stand a chance. “I see QPR and Cardiff as being up there at the end of the season, absolutely,” insisted Keane. “They’ve both got the experience, the managers, and they’ve got the goal threat. We found this area a major problem last season, and we’re not exactly free scoring at the moment.
“I don’t think there’s any surprise that QPR are up there, at the top, particularly with the one or two players they brought in on transfer deadline day.“They’ve got a lot of attacking options, and have vast experience. “Unless you’ve got someone who can put the ball in the back of the net, trust me you’re going to go nowhere.“We found that last year. You’ve got to have one or two players putting the ball in the net, and you look at the top two, QPR and Cardiff, they’re scoring goals for fun. “They deserve to be where they are, because that’s the hardest part of football, and they’re doing it,” added Keane. The Irishman is set to make one or two changes this evening. Mark Kennedy could replace Darren O’Dea at left-back, after the Celtic loanee picked up an injury at Portsmouth, while winger Andros Townsend is pushing for an immediate return to the side after serving a three-match suspension.

QPR Official Site MATCHDAY PREVIEW: TRACTOR BOYS Posted on: Tue 14 Sep 2010 Two of the Championships in-form sides go head-to-head, as the table-topping R's travel to Portman Road - the home of third placed Ipswich Town - tonight (Tuesday). Both teams head into the clash unbeaten since the start of the season, with Rangers sitting two points clear of the Tractor Boys at the summit of the division. Roy Keane's men ground out a 0-0 draw at rock-bottom Portsmouth on Saturday, on an afternoon when both sides spurned a hatful of glorious opportunities. Keane (pictured, below) was content to leave the South Coast with a point, however, commenting: "I think a draw was a fair result. "We had the best chance with Darren O'Dea in the first half. "They had some new faces in their team and that gave them a lift, so we will take a point." Star Man Jason SCOTLAND (Striker) Town completed the signing of Wigan hit-man Jason Scotland (pictured, below) in August. The 31 year-old striker - who has been capped more than 40 times by Trinidad & Tobago - put pen to paper on a two year deal. Scotland's goalscoring record at this level is sound, having netted 20-plus times in the 2008/09 campaign during his time at Swansea City. He made his Ipswich debut against Crewe Alexandra in the League Cup last month, and scored his first goal for the Club on his league debut against Bristol City a few days later. The Pre-Match Talk *Neil Warnock - "I think this period of matches coming up, starting with Ipswich on Tuesday night, look really tough on paper. "They've made a strong start like ourselves, but I'm looking forward to the test." *David Norris (pictured, below) - "It's a big week ahead for us, but we won't get too bogged down with it being the be-all-and-end-all. "At the moment, we are happy to still be unbeaten. It's early in the season and everything is a bit false."
