Neil Warnock and Adel Taarabt have scooped the monthly npower Football League awards following the R's excellent start to the season.
Warnock fought off stiff competition from Millwall's Kenny Jackett, Cardiff City boss Dave Jones and Ipswich gaffer Roy Keane to win the August Manager of the Month gong.
Taarabt, meanwhile, clinched the Player of the Month prize ahead of Leeds keeper Kasper Schmeichel, Cardiff City's Jay Bothroyd and Millwall skipper Paul Robinson.
Warnock has steered his side to three wins and a draw in the opening month of the campaign - a run of results that sees the Hoops top the table ahead of Saturday's home fixture against Middlesbrough at Loftus Road.
Taarabt has been instrumental during that period, scoring two goals in four League appearances and producing one fine performance after another, instantly repaying the faith shown in him by the Rangers gaffer following his summer move from Tottenham Hotspur.

Neil Warnock has revealed he 'didn't expect' the R's to make such a stunning start to the season - but was delighted to receive the npower Championship Manager of the Month award for August earlier today.
Warnock - who has guided Rangers to the summit of the division with three wins and a draw from our opening four fixtures - said: "You don't win anything in August, apart from this award, but we've made a great start.
"I didn't expect us to get the results we did in the opening month of the season.
"We had a very good pre-season and we managed to get a lot of good work in.
"We did a lot of the hard work then and it's given us a great chance to start the season in style.
"Everyone at the Club deserves this award - they've all put an unbelievable amount of effort in."
Warnock added: "I don't think there are any easy games on paper. We'll get beat here and there, but we intend to enjoy ourselves.
"We've scored goals at the right time, even when everyone was writing us off, but Boro' are the favourites to win the title, so it will be tough on Saturday."
