I think Jamie Cureton was the last Former Reading Striker that we signed! Exeter Official Site Jamie Cureton Signs A Contract Posted on: Tue 24 Aug 2010 Exeter City are pleased to announce that striker Jamie Cureton has signed a permanent contract with the club. The striker, who turns 35 on Saturday, has featured in both of the Grecians' opening League One matches since joining on a non-contract basis on August 2nd. But he made his stay in Devon a permanent one this afternoon. Cureton has found the net over 200 times in a career spanning over 600 games. His spells at Bristol Rovers, Reading and Colchester in particular have seen him score goals for fun. City's number 12 had spent the last three seasons back at Carrow Road, where his career began. Loan spells at at Barnsley and Shrewsbury took place during that spell before the Bristol-born forward was released on a free transfer in the summer. www.exetercityfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10436~2133234,00.html

We bought him just before going up (to boost - when we didn't have ANY money).. Had previously tried....And he was a proven goalscorer..And I was Over the Moon when we signed him...Unfortunately didnt work out at QPR
