It's about time I joined a QPR forum. I was born in London and lived there until my early 20s. I chose QPR when they were runners-up to Liverpool in 1976. I watched my first match at Loftus Road in the early 80s, saw them get promoted to the old First Division, saw the home leg of the league cup QF against Chelsea and then the final *puke*. Also saw both UEFA Cup matches at Highbury. I drifted away from football in the post-Hillsbrough fall-out and didn't watch another match in person until returning to the UK on holiday last year. Watched the last game of the season on a warm spring day. It was good to see grass at the Loft at last! Here in Michigan it is tough following QPR. I need a much more expensive cable package for just a slight chance of catching them in action. But I follow their results and news. There is another QPR fan who lives just a mile away, he too started watching them during the Stan Bowles days, he was in the USAF in England and enjoyed watching a bit of footy, and he even ended up being a referee. We both take part in the local Subbuteo league, hence my nickname on this site, it's my team name. His team is called Rangers as well. That can get confusing at times. His home pitch is called Loftus Road West, and his goal music is Pigbag. His team logo is unashamedly ripped off from the one used in the 80s. I look forward to chatting about QPR. Hopefully we'll have a season to remember!

Greetings to you Coitpark I used to live in England back in the 70's between Manchester and Liverpool. Started following QPR trying to be different than the others in our area and of course because of Rodney Marsh. Flew in and out from Lakenheath and visited many AFB's over there but my dad was in the Army. You've found a good spot to follow all things QPR

Not a septic (yet) and will never renounce my British citizenship anyway... happy we are able to keep both passports.
I am in Grand Rapids, which for the geographically challenged is below the ring finger in the middle of your right palm.

And to bring it back round to QPR: Michigan is next to Wisonsin... And if you cast back a few years: Tim Krause's Milwaukee Waves proposed link/investment in QPR
