And a reminder
Queens Park Rangers Official Site August 5, 2009
Queens Park Rangers Football Club
Queens Park Rangers Football Club is known by other football fans to be a family Club.
We pride ourselves on being a family Club; yes, we are loud and proud as our true fans support our team with passion, but we do not welcome hooligans.
We have supporters whose attendance at Loftus Road goes back generations and those fans expect to be able to bring their children to our Stadium.
Foul, abusive, violent language and behaviour committed by a small number of people who attend the home areas is spoiling our real fans’ enjoyment and kids are now not always so keen on coming back.
Likewise we receive complaints from our fans about the behaviour of others who travel away from home. We need our real fans, not hooligans, to support our team away from home.
Entering the pitch during a game is equally not acceptable and leads to our Club being in jeopardy with the Football Association.
We condemn hooligan behaviour and entering the pitch, with those found to be committing such disgraceful acts facing a lengthy (or for specific offences lifetime) ban from attending our Stadium or purchasing tickets for away games.
QPR are determined to ensure that supporting our team continues to be a great experience and to remove from the Stadium those who do not share our goal of ensuring the Club remains suitable for young and old to attend.

If we are going to have a Football Factory thread, then I'll offer my tuppence worth: QPR havent got the numbers here, on our "best" / "worst" day we can maybe get 40 proper thugs that can have a row together, I think 40 is a fair figure to give, some of those lot are very rough blokes that can have a proper tear up you know what I mean ? They come from the very authentic old school Working Class backgrounds which we all know about / of, my Dad comes from that background, but has moved on with his life, he doesnt go near alcohol, he doesnt particularly like foul mouthed people, but he could probably hold his own in a row against some of these people when push comes to shove. With clubs like Chelsea, Millwall & West Ham, its part of their culture & identity, we cant say that, its untrue, Millwall have the dockers thing, Chelsea has the far right thing, all these clubs like Millwall, West Ham & Chelsea probably have quite a few hundred authentic "Hooligans" that they can muster up when push comes to shove, QPR maybe has 40 proper "Hooligans" at a push, there is the difference & rightly or wrongly, it is ingrained in the culture & history of other clubs, we dont have that at QPR, no point lying about it either. The worst I've seen / felt at QPR was that friday night match against Cardiff in November 2002, the atmosphere around the ground was very edgy & unlike anytthing I've ever felt before whilst walking down South Africa Road, saw someone from the local estate pull a knife out on some Cardiff fans, allsorts was going on, not my scene, but it does still go on from time to time.

Do we have any rivalry with Luton? I remember a big fight between QPR and Luton fans down the train station platform that appeared on a programme about hooliganism in the early 1990's.
I don't like Luton as I have been to their ground with my Watford mate. Pretty intense stand off after the game between rival supporters, and being among the Watford fans we needed a police escort through the town.
