KLR will be pleased ;D If he realises its about QPR & not about Adel Taarabt, then it could potentially be a pivotal / defining signing for us, I've never doubted his talent or ability, I'm not a fan of the backheels & flicks & all the rest of it, but is he a skilful player ? Yes, he clearly is. My Issue & its a big issue, is the temperament thing, at times his Primadonna behaviour has been cringeworthy & embarrassing to see someone like that playing in the Coca Cola Championship whilst in his head he was starring for Barca / Real Madrid in El Classico. Skill is good for a player to have, Gary & Phil Neville didnt have too much God given skill like Adel Taarabt, but they had the right attitude & achieved a lot in the game as a result. Personally, I dont think Taarabt will sign no matter what he might have said to someone at family fun day, but if he does sign, then I'm still going to be sitting on the cynical side of the fence with regards to this player. He has a lot to learn about Football, especially at this level when its the best teams that get promoted. |

I for one hope he signs , know he can be a bit of a D--k sometimes but i think we could see
a different player with a settled management team behind him !
He just needs to commit himself now !
At the end of the day he is only young , weve all made big mistakes sometimes in our lives ,
take Mr King for example !
Its team players we want at QPR i think he can be one in time !
COME ON TARBS COMMIT !

Obviously for Spurs, this is just a minor snippet for a big club...But for what it's worth, (and only looked a few ways) I don't see any mention on their fan sites.

It wasn't Taarabt he was talking to, it was another new player, a genuine mistake.

This of course fits into the QPR we know and love!
On WATRB, some saying may have been Leon Clarke people were talking to/confused with Taarabat.
But of course "ITKs" were saying "Done Deal" before the Open Day started. And others who at least, used to be "ITK" also saying, set to be completed. (Which of course is what many of us have been seeing/given that he has to go SOMEWHERE)...

But there have been posters (not here) who have specifically said, Taarabat HAS Signed... (Some of them said this weeks ago. Some more recently said it). When clearly while he MAY Sign, the statement that he HAS Signed, was wrong
