So was Blackstock the greatest striker in the country? No Would he be better than what we currently have? And we did get less than a million for him

Lets go for Chopra, been saying it for three months. But alas Pellicori will step up to the plate and miss it from less than 5 feet.

"Cant afford Chopra..."
But we can afford the Million pound fee for Helguson....ANd the wages we've been paying for Helguson and AGyemang and Borrorwdale and Pellicori and Alberti (Forget Cook/Vine who were legitimately injured - ignoring whether should have signed Cook"
Plus is we're going to pay so much for Taarabt or for McAnuff etc....We could

Another Striker ostensibly available (for loan. BIG loan Fee) People Newcastle Set To Send Leon Best Out On Loan Aug 1 2010 by CRouter CRouter, The People NEWCASTLE UNITED are ready to let £2million striker Leon Best go out on loan. Best has flopped at St James’ Park since his transfer from Coventry in January, making only five league starts without finding the net. Now Newcastle will let him try his luck elsewhere and have put a loan fee of £400,000 on the 23-year-old. Best – who made his professional debut for Southampton against the Toon in 2004 – scored his first goal for Newcastle in their friendly win at Carlisle two weeks ago and also found the net against PSV Eindhoven yesterday. The Geordies have told clubs looking to get Nile Ranger on loan to forget it. And this will be disappointing news for Premier League new boys BLACKPOOL and Championship club LEEDS. Ranger, 19, has had his off-the-field problems on Tyneside but Newcastle intend to keep him. www.people.co.uk/sport/football/football-hotline/2010/08/01/newcastle-set-to-send-leon-best-out-on-loan-102039-22454548/

Walters, Chopra & Best could not be worse than helguson - He didn't fail a medical, Pellicori - cant score from 5 yards or Argeymang - who can score against non league clubs.
