Hahaha. The world's end eh? I was in there after H&R won against Bath City. I thinl that was also the night that Chelsea went out of Europe? I remember being both well fed and happy!

We won 2-1 with both goals from German Strange all those times we announced Pellicori in a QPR squad and he was nowhere. And today we didn't announce re Pellicori (or anything re the game for that matter) and there he was. Here's a photo twitpic.com/2afard

Whose-ever decision it was to sign this twat, should be forced to buy a replacement top-quality-20-goals-per-season striker out of their own pocket, not the clubs.

I think we all know who wanted and got him ! These sort of signings hopefully will end now !(how many times have we said this ? Think Vine ,Pelli be gone by the end of August Keep Helg , Cook , Hall ,Borrowdale till end of season though ! Unless Watford come in for Helg and Charlton Borrowdale It will get better !!

Your Local Guardian Hampton & Richmond 1 QPR 2 5:30pm Monday 2nd August 2010 * Print * Email * Share * Comments(0) * By Stefan Rance ยป A youthful QPR team, bolstered by the experience of Gary Borrowdale and Rowan Vines, bested Hampton & Richmond Borough on Saturday, in the first of the Beavers' home pre-season games. Rangers were the more ambitious of the lacklustre teams at the start of the match and produced an opportunity on 14 minutes after Allesandro Pellecori managed to completely fluff a chance that was begging to be buried in the net. Frank Moussa shot wide with the follow up. This missed QPR chance seemed to kick the beavers into gear and they responded immediately with an Ian Hodges cross being met my a Dave Tarpey header, missing just wide. Despite the face that Beavers' centre backs Dave Stephens were Lloyd Boateng were showing more competence at dealing with Vine and Pellecori, QPR's youngsters were proving a handful, with Oastler dribbling through and skewing his shot just wide. The last act of the half encapsulated the story of the half with Moussa staying lively up front firing over the bar from 25 yards. The second half arrived with a renewed seance of urgency from the Beavers with Dave Tarpey getting clear, but getting dispossessed on the edge of the area as he tried to switch feet, with defender Danny Allen-Page's shot failing to trouble the keeper. The Beavers went on the offensive once more and on 54 minutes Ian Hodges sent his team ahead from a corner, heading away the ball in. However, just as Hampton & Richmond were finding their rhythm in the match, Dev made a whole host of substitutions (taking Simmonds, Tarpey and Stephens off), almost immediately after which Antonio German managed to exploit some slow defending and headed in a sharp cross from the right. Matt Lovett got a hand to it but could ultimately not do enough to keep the ball out. This goal broke the Beavers slightly as QPR now attacked with more energy and vigour. However club favourite Yaks made some space to shoot at Rangers's net, to which the keeper was equal. Hodges made way for Yarnie on 74 minuites almost to immediate effect as he met an Allen-Page free kick that crept narrowly over the bar. Rangers managed to snatch the winner on 84 mins as German found some more space, punishing the rebound coolly from Lovett's save from Johnson. However, Beaver's fans have a lot to look forward too if the team can find their form more consistently during the game as you couldn't help but notice the commitment of Stephens and Boateng at the back with Hodgey and Tarps looking shape up front. Beavers Matt Lovett, Danny Allen-Page, Craig Tanner, Lloyd Boateng, Dave Stephens, Dean Wells, James Simmonds, Nathan Collier, Ian Hodges, Dave Tarpey, Dean Inman. www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/sport/football/8307726.German_double_sinks_Hampton___Richmond_Borough/
