Depends how good he still is...and whether he could find a place at QPR...But as I said, I wouldn't mind one or two season-long loansBBC Tottenham's teenage midfielder John Bostock reckons his progress is being damaged by foreign players in the English game. The 18-year-old, who was on loan at Brentford last season, wants another loan move as he has only made three substitute appearances for Spurs in two years. Another midfielder. My prediction of a 1-9-1 formation might yet come true!

Total k_nob with a huge deep fried chip on his shoulder. Stay well clear! Great promise at Palace until his Step Father (life long Palace fan and season ticket holder) and also his agent, decided to sell his soul to Spurs. Done really well since leaving us.

Think Warnock has lost the plot Those are frightening words to even read! lol, time will tell. Back to that Bostock article that you've posted. Saw this on a forum and found it very funny. Dear John, I was given 46 chances last season and it has really worked out well for me here. My friend Victor was also given 30+ chances last season, he is also doing really well now and playing in the Premiership. All the best Nathaniel Makes you think doesnt it!

It's interesting, because there's also Dean Parrett at Spurs, who's also waiting...Whereas if he'd stayed at QPR, he presumably would have been playing regularly and developing.
(There is a little difference of course in that QPR/Paladini cashed in on Parrett rather than Parrett demanding to leave)

Tottenham youngster John Bostock is poised to make a loan move to the Championship with QPR and Reading leading the chase for his signature. Bostock, 18, has struggled to make any impact at White Hart Lane following his high profile move from Crystal Palace. The England Under-19 midfielder was regarded as one of the brightest young talents in the game but has failed to find a way into the first-team and blamed the heavy influx of foreign signings for hindering his opportunities Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is unlikely to stand in his way if he wants to go out on loan next season. QPR boss Neil Warnock is keen to strengthen his squad and has a good relationship with the north London club after working with Adel Taarabt on a similar deal last year. Reading are also in the market for the best young talent and Bostock is hoping to finalise his future before the new season gets underway. www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/2010-07-30/qpr-lining-loan-move-bostock

Worth remembering that Bostock is three years younger than Clyne and at least that younger than Moses (whose age is somewhat "cloudy"). Whatever one thinks of GP (and I'm not his biggest fan by a country mile), the fee secured for Parrett in all probability saved the Club from administration at the time.

re Parrett "saving the club" could well be. Problem was that it was sold by Paladini as Parrett wanting to leave, etc.
