Delaney blow for Ipswich Defender out for three months with serious dead legIpswich Town's plans for the new season have been rocked after Damien Delaney was ruled out for three months. Delaney suffered a serious dead leg in training on Thursday and the defender will miss the start of the new Championship campaign. He was unable to travel to Holland for Saturday's friendly with PSV Eindhoven and Ipswich boss Roy Keane acknowledged it was a major setback. "It was a nasty injury and it is a big blow for us," said Keane in the East Anglian Daily Times. Republic of Ireland international Delaney was a key figure for Ipswich last season as he made 39 appearances following his arrival from Queens Park Rangers. www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6268111,00.html
