Dec, 2014 Fall Season Review from Gino
Dear SP Soccer Academy Members,
Fall season has come to an end and I would like to thank all the players for their commitment, dedication, and effort. I would also like to thank the parents for their support of the kids. We could not have had the success we had this season without parents travelling and supporting the kids without pressure.
SP Soccer Academy has grown significantly in recent years. I am proud of the family atmosphere we have created and the positive impact we have made on our communities. Our players, coaches, and families have helped to create a positive environment for the kids where the pressure to win is not our philosophy but where creating a winning attitude prevails.
Fall season was a success for many reasons. We had many teams win tournaments and leagues and many teams play in tournament Finals. The important thing is that we played good Soccer! It is nice to win and have success but even more fun to watch our teams and players Become Better everyday.
There are different ways of winning and losing. Seeing our teams give 100% in practice and in games is the best way to compete regardless of the outcome. With 100% effort we improve faster too. In a short season, 3 months, both new teams and existing teams improved remarkably. The key was the player’s commitment to training, games, and tournaments – and the patience of the parents! Without patience from the parents to allow the kids to improve it can be impossible to develop good teams for training and playing.
I would like to thank you all for believing in us and respecting our work.
Sincerely,
Gino Padula
Director, SP Soccer Academy
