The Blues will face Mexican giants Club America, an Edmonton select side and MLS side DC United. Pompey will fly out to California on Monday, July 12 following a friendly with Havant & Waterlooville at Westleigh Park on Saturday, July 10. They will face Club America at the Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on Wednesday, July 14, followed by a match against an Edmonton Select on Wednesday, July 21. Pompey complete their trip with a game against DC United at RFK Stadium, Washington on Saturday, July 24. The Blues last crossed the Atlantic in the summer of 1951 for a tour of South America. They faced top Brazilian sides Fluminese, Botafogo, America, Santos, Sao Paolo and Palmeiras, drawing three matches and losing the other three.
