Nobody knows about it but hope it's on the Saturday rather than Friday.

Thanks. I just hope that our visit to Torquay who have just axed their CEO doesn't give QPR any ideas

Looking at it, we have got quite a fixture list growing. I am sure with dowie we only had about 4 pre season friendlies. This is more like it, lets hit the ground running this year not jogging.
ps Colin, can we have some stronger pre season opponents?

I wouldn't play Boreham Wood. Their last match a "fan" attacked the captain of the opposition in the play-off final.
Was nice when I went but their more 'relaxed' support are scum.

I wouldn't play Boreham Wood. Their last match a "fan" attacked the captain of the opposition in the play-off final. Was nice when I went but their more 'relaxed' support are scum. Wasn't aware of that! . Wansworth Guardian Ks promotion hopes in hands of FA 5th May 2010 Stuart Amos » Kingstonian manager Alan Dowson insists replaying Saturday’s controversial Ryman League Premier Division play-off final defeat is the only solution to restore football’s reputation. A violent pitch invasion saw Ks skipper Francis Duku attacked by a rival fan who ran on the pitch during his side’s 2-0 play-off final defeat at Boreham Wood, following a second-half goalmouth melee with the scores locked at 0-0. The club’s joint-chairmen Malcolm Winwright and Mark Anderson lodged a complaint with the Football Association on Monday claiming the incident had ’seriously affected the ongoing performance of the team’. The English game’s governing body are investigating events, but have no set procedure for an appeal against a result in the hope of overturning, rescinding or replaying the match - leaving Kingstonian’s fate to be decided in an FA committee room. Ks’ case is one of three currently being looked at by officials at Soho Square after a weekend of football violence scarred the aftermath of matches involving Crystal Palace, Sheffield Wednesday, York City and Luton Town. But Dowson says the experience has sullied the club’s whole season and the only satisfactory outcome in this instance will be to replay the match. “I’ve never seen anything like it in all my life. It is has spoilt the whole season and I feel very sorry for the supporters,” he said. “If I hadn’t been so shocked at what happened I would have taken the players off the pitch. “Something has to be done. The game was 0-0 at the time and the incident turned the game. I think there would have been a riot if we’d won the game. You can’t play in an atmosphere like that. “I love the game, but things like this make you think. There is no place for that it football. It was sickening. A replay is the only sensible solution.” Hertfordshire Police are yet to take any further action, but confirmed a man was taken to one side by officers on duty at the game and subsquently ejected from the ground - although no arrest was made. The referee’s match report and evidence from both clubs will be examined by the FA before any decision on disciplinary action - which could see charges brought against Boreham Wood if the FA feel there is a case to answer - is taken. “There is no set procedure with regards to incidents of this nature. It will take as long as it takes, but we hope the process will be completed in days rather than weeks,” added a Soho Square spokesman. www.wandsworthguardian.co.uk/sport/8137647.Ks_promotion_hopes_in_hands_of_FA/

Add Harrow vs QPR Monday, Aug 2 (7:30pm) Harrow Observer Harrow Borough to host Birmingham City and QPR in pre-season friendlies May 20 2010 By Tim Edwards harrow borough fc Harrow Borough are hoping to entice a second Premier League club to Earlsmead as their pre-season schedule takes shape. Birmingham City have already agreed to send a side to face the Ryman Premier League outfit on Tuesday, August 10 (7.45pm) while Neil Warnock will bring a strong Queens Park Rangers team in their final pre-season fixture on Monday, August 2 (7.30pm). Borough boss David Howell, who has also pencilled in games with Potters Bar, Corinthian Casuals and Godalming Town, is hoping to finalise details with another Premier League club shortly. It is a tantalising line-up for Borough's squad, with the majority of players having committed their short-term futures following the recent end-of-season awards bash. Defender Tobi Jinadu was named Supporters' Player of the Year while industrious midfielder Kwasi Frempong got the players' player vote. Striker Rocky Baptiste, 37, is the only notable player yet to sign up for next season, with the players set to report for pre-season training on July 6. “The majority of the players signed at the presentation evening, which I am very happy with,” said manager Howell. “But Rocky is old school. He wants to see what happens over the summer before weighing up his options and discussing terms. “The players certainly are not here for the money but they know we will look after them.” Howell is looking forward to pitting his wits against his former club City and QPR and hopes the games will generate much needed revenue. “We are restricted financially and these games will help us go a long way in getting through next season,” he added. Meanwhile, Howell has missed out on landing one of his targets for next season. Former Cray Wanderers and Bromley attacking midfielder George Porter, 17, signed a two year deal with Leyton Orient on Friday. In other Borough news winger Dean Fenton is currently appearing on our TV screens in a World Cup advert for Kit-Kat alongside Arsenal defender Sol Campbell. The 27-year-old is a fire-fighter and model by day and can be seen emerging from the player's entrance at Millwall's New Den to sign autographs. Fenton has previously appeared in adverts with Thierry Henry and Eric Cantona. www.harrowobserver.co.uk/west-london-sport/allsport/2010/05/20/harrow-borough-to-host-birmingham-city-and-qpr-in-pre-season-friendlies-116451-26484905/

Nothing in the end unfortunately.
However a friend has managed to wrangle some seats through his work for England v Mexico in a box. I won't bother watching the match as I detest modern England footballers but I will be drinking my body weight in free beer (11st before you ask!).
