QPR's final game of their Double Season ended in a 2-1 loss at Oxford, Marsh scoring his 44th goal of the season...The Cup FInal Team, I believe.
Who would have guessed fifteen months later, we'd be kicking off in the same Division as Man Ut, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea... Noticing some teams no longer in the league, no longer existing in the form they were then and then also seeing Bournemouth & Boscombe Athletic, I wonder what became of Boscombe??

Many thx the great memories this thread evokes. We need to strive to emulate the 1967 achievements rather than as our manager say use the likes of Brentford as a role model....
