ARGYLE have cancelled their supporters' end-of-season awards evening because of a lack of interest from the Green Army.
The various branches of the Argyle Supporters' Club usually present their player-of-the-season awards at the evening, which was due to take place after the final home game of the season against Peterborough United on Sunday, May 2.
Alternative provision will now be made for the branches to make their presentation.
Chief operating officer Tony Campbell said: "We have had fewer than 15 people showing an interest in the supporters' end-of-season awards evening. We therefore had no alternative but to cancel it.
"We are very sorry but it is not appropriate to run the event under such circumstances.
"We have arranged for the supporters' groups to meet up with their chosen player at a suitable time and place to present their award."
The club's main Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards will be presented on the pitch before the Peterborough.
At the same time, the club will make its own awards to the Supporter of the Season, to Commerce & Industry, Community and an Award of Merit.
