Virgin Hall open to offers 16 Apr 2010 Newcastle defender Fitz Hall remains open minded over his future as he prepares to play his part in clinching the Coca-Cola Championship title. The 29-year-old, on loan from QPR, could get the nod at Plymouth on Monday night after recovering from a hamstring injury with Fabricio Coloccini struggling with a similar problem. Hall is due to return to his parent club at the end of the campaign, and will then await developments as Magpies boss Chris Hughton assesses what is required for life in the Barclays Premier League. The defender said: "My views haven't changed from when I first came here. I came here on the basis of I wanted to get some games under my belt at a massive club like Newcastle and see where it takes me. "It's a massive club and anyone if they had a chance to sign for Newcastle, they would be stupid to turn it down. "But at the end of the day, my contract here is to the end of the season and I have still got two more years at QPR." www.football.virginmedia.com/page/Newcastle/NewsDetail/0,,12555~2026523,00.html

And Agyemang...and maybe Helguson (depending if the Watford rumour is true)...and Pellicori...These are the Paladini remnants to clean up after.
And you have to wonder if Newcastle will want to sign him, or go a little better given they're now Premiership

Also this Newcastle Chronicle Home Newcastle United Newcastle United News Click here to find out more! Fitz Hall loving every game for Newcastle Apr 16 2010 by Lee Ryder, Evening Chronicle Comments (3) Recommend * 1 * 2 * next Fitz Hall FITZ HALL is playing each game for Newcastle United as if it’s his last. However, the Londoner has confessed that he is living the dream every time he pulls on a black-and-white shirt for the Magpies. Hall is hoping to be back in the team at Plymouth Argyle on Monday after a hamstring injury, and with just three games left of his loan from Queens Park Rangers he knows the clock is ticking on his future on Tyneside. The big defender has epitomised the attitude in the Toon camp this season with United players showing a genuine hunger to suceed for the Geordie public. And unlike some of football’s mercenaries who have let the black-and-whites down in years gone by, Hall has given everything for the cause. He told the Chronicle: “I am trying to enjoy every moment. If it lasts to the end of the season, I want to look back and know I have enjoyed it. “At the same time, I want to give everything because I want no regrets at the end. “Since I have come here, they have encouraged me loads. To tell you the truth, at QPR, I wasn’t playing there week-in, week-out, so for Newcastle at the top of the league to want you to come and play for their team says it all.” Hall will be hoping that he is part of the Newcastle squad that has not only acheived promotion but also clinched the title with potentially one point required to seal the trophy. He said: “To have that on your CV at a club like Newcastle – even to have that you have played for Newcastle on your CV – is a massive achieve-ment for me and something I am very proud of.” United will take another big following to Plymouth on Monday and then face the prospect of a sell-out against Ipswich Town next Saturday. Hall said: “That’s what keeps us going. “We have been down a couple of times now and knocked a goal in in the last 10 minutes, and it’s purely down to them. “I have been at clubs where, if you are losing with 10 minutes to go, the crowd is on your back. “But here, they get behind you and they are like a 12th man. “That’s helped through the season. “By far and away they will be the biggest fans I ever play under. “They bleed black-and-white – I knew that before I came here and I have been very impressed since I arrived. www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2010/04/16/fitz-hall-loving-every-game-for-newcastle-72703-26256076/2/

At A league level, he'd excell, kick the crap out of the fake diving turd called Brosque. After all, if you are going to get booked on an offence against Brosque, you might as well do it. That guy goes down quicker than a Kings Cross hooker.

And Newcastle like him. Still can't believe he's what they need for next season... Hughton praises the contributions of Fitz Hall Apr 19 2010 by Lee Ryder, Evening Chronicle CHRIS HUGHTON has praised the contributions of Fitz Hall since he arrived on loan from Queens Park Rangers in January. Hall, who has been sidelined with injury, is in the frame to return to the Magpies’ line-up at Plymouth tonight if fellow defender Fabricio Coloccini fails to shake off a hamstring problem. Hughton said today: “I am delighted with Fitz. “When you go somewhere on loan the one thing you want and need to do is to play. “He has been able to do that with us, but it has also been very frustrating for him to miss out. “I felt for him when he was injured, but he has done very well for us when he has played.” Hall has made just six appearances for United and tasted defeat just once..... The ex-Wigan man picked up a hamstring injury at Bristol City at Ashton Gate last month, but is now waiting to see if he can earn a permanent move. www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2010/04/19/hughton-praises-the-contributions-of-fitz-hall-72703-26270345/2/
