England 2-1 Japan The Montaigu Tournament
2pm, Saturday 3 April Stade De La Vie, St Gilles Croix De Vie, France
England U16s will get the chance to retain their title of Montaigu Tournament champions after victory against Japan saw them top their group and take their place in the Final.
Kenny Swain's team will now face Portugal on Monday afternoon after winning Group B with three wins out of three, with goals from Matthias Fanimo and Max Clayton in the second half proving enough to secure victory.
However, the Young Lions will be without Adam Jackson for that game after he picked up a second booking during the match. With Jack Barmby also missing this match through injury, Swain's options could be restricted on Monday but the chance remains to win this competition for the second successive year.

England U16 6-0 Gabon U16 The Montaigu Tournament
5pm BST, Thursday 1 April 2010 Stade Hermitage, Venansault, France
Four first-half goals set the England U16 team on their way to a resounding 6-0 victory over Gabon in their second match of the Montaigu Tournament in France.
It was the first time this set of players has played against a non-European nation and the result means England have now garnered six points from their opening two matches in this U16 friendly tournament, after their 3-1 victory over Ukraine yesterday.
There were first England goals for Nathan Redmond, Nick Powell, Max Clayton and Jack Barmby, who got two, while Blair Turgott scored the sixth.
Gabon were forced to play with ten men for most of the match, losing their goalkeeper after 21 minutes. Barmby scored his second from the resulting free-kick. The African side then went down to nine men with five minutes to go and England capitalised through Turgott.
The other match in the group finished Ukraine 4-0 Japan and England take on Japan on Saturday in their final group game.

Hallam Hope scores twice as U16s win in Montaigu.
England U16 3-1 Ukraine U16 The Montaigu Tournament
5pm BST, Wednesday 31 March 2010
Stade De La Vie, St Gilles Croix De Vie, France
The England U16 side got their Montaigu Tournament campaign off to a solid start with a 3-1 victory over Ukraine in St Gilles De Vie.
Everton's Hallam Hope opened the scoring for Kenny Swain's side on 18 minutes, but Ukraine equalised just after the break. However, parity didn't last long as Raheem Sterling, who has recently joined Liverpool from QPR, restored England's lead just a minute later. Hope sealed the victory from the penalty spot on 68 minutes.
With Japan and Gabon also in England's group for the Montaigus, this tournament represents the first time these players would have played against non-European nations, one factor that could enhance their development in the game.
Last year's intake of U16s triumphed in this tournament after beating Germany on penalties in the Final and this 3-1 victory sets the Young Lions up nicely for a real shot at a title defence.
The other match in England's group finished Japan 3-0 Gabon and England meet Gabon tomorrow.
