Following another outstanding display for QPR by Adel Taarabt , Loftus Road boss Neil Warnock revealed that Tottenham will only let the talented Moroccan leave permanently for £4.5m. The 20 year-old made both QPR goals as the West London side fought back from two goals down to secure a point at Preston North End. Taarabt has proven to be a thorn in Preston's side this season, having scored a wonder goal against them at Loftus Road earlier in the season. Taarabt has proven to be a hit at Loftus Road during a season long loan from Tottenham, scoring seven goals and often terrorizing Championship defences with his close control and dribbling ability. However, following yesterday's game, QPR manager Warnock revealed that Spurs' asking price for Taarabt may well be too high for Rangers, despite rumours that the Loftus Road boss will have a £10m summer war chest at his disposal. Warnock said, "Adel Taarabt is not an easy player to have in your side if I'm honest. "He's got tremendous skill but it's how you play him. We've got good players and he complements us. Will he go back to Tottenham at the end of the season? Oh aye, they want £4.5million for him." Taarabt joined Tottenham from French club Lens in 2006, but has managed only 9 Spurs appearances since then. www.imscouting.com/global-news-article/Tottenham-want-45m-to-make-Taraabt-QPR-move-permanent/6763/

Is it the present Spurs manager, who has put a transfer fee of 4.5 mill. on Tarbratt. Due to the tax evasion problems facing Portsmouth, it could be that we could be dealing with a possible new Spurs manager and a lower fee.

Yeah I saw that too Blue. Perhaps we should loan him next season too and then get him on a free. NW seems to be bringing the better out of him.

Either way I can't see Adel being here next season. If he hasn't gone to one of his beloved spanish clubs. I reckon he will get loaned or sold to a premiership club.

4.5 mill??? That's insane. Tell 'Arry to get stuffed QPR - no matter how talented he is, he's not worth that
Christ, you can get a more talented player for a fraction of that price from Europe or Africa.
And people wonder why football is in such a mess? There's one reason, insane transfer demands.

I'd laugh in their face. £4.5m? You can buy 45 Lee Camps for that

So 'Arry wants 4.5 million? Well, if we decide to pursue it, the solution seems simple. Put Gp in charge of the negotiations and we should get him for ooh................ about 6 Million? What's going on? We should be told. Sort it out.

Adel Taarabt = The New Le Sulk IMO.
Skilful player, but not my cup of tea, not the type of player that will get us promoted & not a QPR Player if you know what I mean.
Good luck to him in La Liga, he's a good player, I just have a different view of football to all that tricks & flicks carry on that you see the kids doing nowadays, learn to pass & tackle before you start worrying about all that nonsense IMO.
Just my opinion on the young Genius.

just proves the point that NW is a decent judge of a player and whoever negotiated the deal did a good job--guess we'll be looking for a minimum of £4.5 million if we let him go !!

Welcome Bradfield, is that a name or a place? ;D
If Carroll is worth £35m after a season in the championship and half in the prem, £4.5m comes nowhere near it methinks!
