I've only been to about four Rnagers youth matches in all my years but I might go to that.
It's at our home ground which is more like a neutral venue really.

QPR Official Site R'S KIDS WIN CUP FINAL Posted on: Tue 30 Mar 2010 QPR Under 18s beat Peterborough United 3-0 in the Youth Alliance Area Final this afternoon, with goals from Elliott Cox (pictured), Taylor Parmenter and Sam Bewick. Full match report to follow soon... And pre-match QPR Official Site YOUNG R'S READY FOR CUP CLASH Posted on: Tue 30 Mar 2010 Steve Gallen's young R's take on Peterborough United in the Football League Youth Alliance Area Final this afternoon at the Club's Harlington Training Ground, kick off 4.30pm. And the Club's Youth Development Manager is looking forward to seeing how his side respond to Saturday's 1-0 league defeat against Brighton. "This is a very important game for us after the weekend loss," Gallen told www.qpr.co.uk. "It gives us the opportunity to bounce back straight away. "We were very unfortunate to lose to Brighton, and that result now puts our chances of winning the league into real doubt. "We've got the chance to get that out of our system now. We actually played really well in that match, so to not even take a point from it was disappointing. "There's an opportunity here for us to progress into the National Final, where we will face either Macclesfield or Stockport. "We reached the Final last year, but lost to Grimsby. "It would be great to go one better, but first we must concentrate on this afternoon's tough test against Peterborough." QPR Squad: Jamie Butler, Miochael Harriman, Aaron Waters, Max Ehmer, Taylor Parmenter, Luke Olley, Frankie Sutherland, Michael Doughty, Elliott Cox, Danny Fernandez, Christian Nanetti, Javonne Molloy, Andy Perring, Marcel Henry-Francis, Bagasan Graham, Sam Bewick www.qpr.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10373~2010022,00.html

Spirited Posh Youngsters BeatenPosted on: Tue 30 Mar 2010 www.theposh.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10427~2010267,00.html? The Peterborough United youth team put up a great fight, but were beaten by a classy Queens Park Rangers side in the Football League Youth Alliance area cup final on Tuesday afternoon. Initially scheduled for Aldershot Town Football Club, the tie was moved to QPR's training ground after heavy rain postponed the original venue. In front of a large crowd, the Posh youngsters played some good football throughout, but the home side created more chances in front of goal and clinched a 3-0 win. Nathan Koranteng, who made his first senior appearance against Bristol City on Saturday, was lively and came close to breaking the deadlock in the first half, but his powerful drive was parried by the R's goalkeeper. Posh shot-stopper Sam Cole made a string of fine saves, particularly late on as the home side used the counter-attack to cause Posh problems. His final save was stunning, tipping the ball around the post with the effort arrowed for the top corner. The QPR goalscorers were Elliott Cox, Taylor Parmenter and Sam Bewick. Posh: Cole, Austin, Piergianni, Cotton, Bishop, Davies (sub Breeze), Dove, Newell, Copocci (sub Joyce), Koranteng, Adjei.

QPR Official Site QPR 3, PETERBOROUGH 0 Posted on: Wed 31 Mar 2010 Queens Park Rangers U18's were crowned Southern Conference Cup champions after soundly beating Peterborough United 3-0 in arctic conditions at QPR's Harlington training ground on Tuesday afternoon. Elliot Cox's impressive first half finish was added to in the second half by Taylor Parmenter before substitute Sam Bewick's screamer on 85 minutes made certain of victory. The game had been scheduled to be played at Aldershot Town's Recreation Ground at 7pm but the game was initially called off due to a waterlogged pitch. Both sides were keen for the fixture to go ahead, however, and switched the venue to Rangers' training ground and a 4.30pm kick off. The only change from Saturday's defeat to Brighton for QPR was the introduction of midfielder Michael Doughty in place of Sam Bewick, who dropped to the bench. Peterborough lined up in a 4-5-1 formation. The first half saw QPR dominate, with Christian Nanetti, Doughty and Frankie Sutherland all forcing saves from Sam Cole in the Peterborough goal. Steve Gallen's settled system suited the balance of his personnel, and QPR's impressive middle three were all taking turns to break up play and get into the box. It was skipper Max Ehmer's turn next, as he arrived late into the box and got on the end of a Nanetti cross, but headed wide of the left hand post. Peterborough United had their first effort on target soon after. On the counter attack, their lone striker picked up the ball in the inside left position and drove towards goal before shooting hard and low from long range, forcing a routine save from Jamie Butler. QPR were creating, but missing chance after chance. Nanetti and Cox proved to be a constant threat in wide areas, but Nanetti somehow missed a header on 30 minutes from five yards out after a great cross from right back Michael Harriman. A few minutes later Sutherland's driving run saw him beat three players on his way into the box, and as he skipped past the fourth man he looked as though he was tripped, but his pleas for a penalty were turned down. In the 38th minute, Nanetti controlled the ball in a central area and drove towards goal. He then passed to fellow winger Cox who finishing clinically with his right foot into the bottom left hand corner of the goal. QPR continued their impressive play in the second half, getting the ball out wide to the seemingly unplayable Cox and Nannetti, who were forcing corners from the re-start. And on 49 minutes from a corner and resulting goal mouth scramble, centre back Parmenter was able to double QPR's lead. It was all QPR throughout this game and striker Danny Fernandez twice nearly put Rangers further into the lead, firstly heading over when trying to control a powerful cross from Doughty, and then forcing a great save from Cole down to his left after getting on the end of Cox's low cross. Bewick was introduced on 68 minutes after Luke Olley got injured and it was he who finally put an end to the contest on 85 minutes when he picked up the ball just inside the Peterborough half. With the game stretched and Peterborough committing people in search of a goal, Bewick was allowed to dribble to within shooting range. The midfielder let fly from all of 30 yards into the top left hand corner, leaving the keeper no chance. It was a fantastic goal which fitted his team's superb performance throughout. It would have been four in the final seconds of the game when Doughty, in a two-on-one situation, squared to substitute Molloy but his shot was somehow saved by Cole, meaning QPR had to settle for a 3-0 scoreline - and a National Final to look forward to. QPR: Butler, Harriman, Waters, Ehmer, Parmenter, Olley (Bewick, 68), Doughty, Sutherland, Nanetti (Graham, 85), Cox (Molloy, 77), Fernandez. Unused Subs: Perring, Henry Francis, Sanderson. www.qpr.co.uk/page/YouthReports/0,,10373~2010261,00.html Peterborough Official Site
