Bump 5 Years:
"Sponsoring Ugo Ukah Myth"
I've recounted this before. But with his usual level of accuracy; and his usual resort to the type of comments that I won't dignify with a response, I'll once again help out Pete with an actual FACT regarding Ugo Ukah.
Pete posted yesterday on WATRB (an interesting way to exemplify the "New Era"):
"...[T]he fact qpr-report who is a anti poster can get a merry band of followers, yet hasn't been to a game since 1971 is astounding.
Thats all, though you need a guy like this I guess. His obsession is scary.
This is a guy who criticised Ugo Ukah, yet by memory sponsored him.You have to laugh"

QPR Report sponsored Ugo Ukah?!
PETE:
He won't admit to it laughter_small:
Think it goes to show, he posts on the internet to get a reaction. Not sure if the guy is behind bars or in a old people's home, but is definitely obssessed

Now in REALITY re "My Sponsorship" of Ugo Ukah:
As for Ugo Ukah sponsorship: As I've mentioned before that was Gianni Paladini showing his sense of humour (or whatever you want to call it) by listing me on the programme as a Ukah Sponsor.
Gianni then very kindly send me a copy of the programme with his complements (after contacting me through the QPR Press Secretary - Jackie Bass at the time).
I actually did appreciate the sense of humour - although thought it was just a little strange for the Chairman to be acting this way.
Now while we're on the topic on Myth vs Reality: Pete definitively stated how he'd learned we had REALLY spent on players under Briatore. The accounts show something radically different. So waiting for Pete's response to this "disparity" between his "facts" and those of the accounts?
