CLARK NAMED MANAGER OF THE MONTH

Huddersfield Town boss Lee Clark was celebrating today after being named Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month for February.
Clark's side enjoyed a terrific month in February, picking up three victories and four draws from their seven league games. His side kicked-off the month with three consecutive draws, followed by a series of three away victories over Carlisle United, Hartlepool United and Tranmere Rovers respectively. The Terriers maintained their great run at Leeds United with a late equaliser ensuring they ended February unbeaten and firmly in the Coca-Cola League 1 Play-Off places.
Also short-listed for the February award were Adrian Boothroyd of Colchester United, Kenny Jackett of Millwall and Swindon Town's Danny Wilson.
Alan Curbishley, Chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel, said: "Lee Clark's Huddersfield maintained their Play-Off push with an excellent run of results in February. Their late equaliser against local rivals Leeds helped to preserve their unbeaten home league record and ensured promotion to the Championship remains firmly in the Terriers' sights."
Nigel Pearson of Leicester City won the award in the Championship and John Sheridan of Chesterfield was given the League 2 accolade.
The decision to present the Coca-Cola League 1 Manager of the Month award was made by the Coca-Cola Awards panel. Headed by Alan Curbishley the panel also includes former World Cup referee Jack Taylor, on behalf of The Football League, Olaf Dixon of the League Managers Association and Steve Watts, Marketing Assets Manager, Coca-Cola Great Britain.
