Palladini [sic] doesn't help himself
QPR chairman Gianni Palladini, presiding over a club in freefall, didn't help himself at on Saturday when he upset his own supporters with his attitude to his former manager Ian Holloway, now in charge of visiting Plymouth.
Holloway was signing autographs outside Loftus Road after the match when Palladini rushed up to him and mockingly asked for his signature. Daily Mail
Flashback QPR1st on Chairman's Image
Our chairman's image

Ian Holloway continues to be regarded with warmth and great affection by many QPR fans and in this context the positive comments our chairman made about Ian when interviewed for television are welcomed.
In contrast, fans who greeted Ian as he was leaving Loftus Road have expressed their concern that Gianni Paladini called out various comments which appeared to be mocking them for their show of affection towards Ian.
An alternative explanation for Gianni's comments has been presented suggesting that his sarcasm was not directed at the fans but at Ollie and was a continuation of harmless banter which had been exchanged between the two men in private. We would like to feel that this was the case but in the context of the bad publicity the club is currently attracting, we would ask our chairman to think carefully about the way he presents himself when in the public arena.
