Ralph Nkomo reveals to Football365.co.za that two French teams are after the Zimbabwean left back.
Bhasera, who still belongs to Kaizer Chiefs, has been in England since leaving the Soweto giants at the end of last season, claiming his contract had expired.
Chiefs, however, remained resolute saying they had an option to extend the 23-year-old's contract for a year, which means, according to Amakhosi's management, the contract expires on 30 June 2010.
'Basler' has tried several options in England over the months and none has worked out. First he was offered a three-year contract by Portsmouth after he was granted a work permit, but he couldn't complete the move as Chiefs came into the picture demanding a transfer fee believed to be in the region of R4-million. But Pompey refused to cough up as Bhasera had told them he was a free agent, according to the club's chief executive officer, Peter Storrie.
Bhasera referred the dispute to FIFA, who haven't made a ruling yet.
The Mutare-born defender reportedly trained with Queens Park Rangers in January, but then left to go train with Sheffield Wednesday, where he was on the verge of signing after the club reached an agreement with Chiefs.
However, Amakhosi team manager Bobby Motaung revealed that Bhasera failed a medical test, as it was picked up he had an ankle injury.
Nkomo reveals to this site that Bhasera is now training with another English Championship side, Plymouth Argyle, while there is interest in France.
"I'm Bhasera's real agent, so I'm the right person to give you an update. I'm saying this, because some people have claimed in the media that they represent Bhasera, but in truth I'm the one who represents him, legally of course," he told Football365.co.za.
"We have two or three options in the Championship in England and currently the boy is training with Plymouth. The French teams Lens and Le Havre also want to sign him, but he prefers England to France, because in England they are of course English-speaking. The good thing is he already has a work permit there."
Nkomo also reveals that Bhasera is no longer on Chiefs' payroll. "We are trying to come to an amicable solution with Chiefs, because there was a mix-up with the boy's contract. We said to Chiefs that the boy wants to play in Europe and that we will come to the table and agree that whichever team wants to sign him, it will be provided that Chiefs get a fee they will ask for.
"We thought he was going to sign for Portsmouth so Chiefs stopped paying him, because all they were waiting for was their transfer fee. So he hasn't been getting paid.
"But we only have a few months left on his Chiefs contract, I'm talking about the option and when it is finished, Chiefs will have no choice but to let him go," Nkomo concluded.
