Is it just because he's better than Harford?
Is it just cos we're so scared of relegation, and think he can save us?
Is it cos think he's the man to do it?
Is it cos we think he's the best we could possibly best
Is he better than Sousa, Dowie, Holloway, Gregory, De Canio and Magilton?
Always a question: Compared to what/whom? Who would prefer to Warnock?
If it was from now to the end of the season, a no-brainer (yes)
But if talking a long-term appointment?

I think that Warnock is comparing well to the idea of Hart and Harford but I agree he is somewhat more of the same (with the exception of Sousa), real intent would be to go out and get Mark Hughes or even Curbishley and then give him a budget and get out of his way.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about Colin my-self.
In the same vein as Gregory coming in with experience and saving us from the drop then he looks to be a good idea but in terms of a long term solution I'm not entirely convinced.
It's a case of too little to late when we could have sorted out our problems over the summer when we were in a much better position rather than repeat the same mistakes and now look to placate with a new manager.
We need to sort out the board first, the team are obviously unsettled by the circus and unless the board either have a complete reversal in their policies towards running the club we will never move forwards, despite who the manager is.

i think youve got it wrong
warnock would be the perfect guy to take the job forget mark hughes curbishly
warnock will work well with a budget, will bring in players that will do a job
curs wont hughes wont
warnock will sign proven championship players and they will play for him
i cant imagine him turning the whole thing arround he will work with the best weve got and bring in additions
imo

But of all the guys (potentially) out there that we could perhaps get (or could have gotten), where does he rank?
Is he better (for what QPR Need) than what we had in Sousa, Holloway, Dowie, Gregory, Magilton, De Canio?
Or Darren Ferguson
Or Coppell/Curbishley/Johnson/ Driscoll
