Well...I'd say Chelsea need an Exorcist Telegraph/Tim Walker Chelsea need a priest, says the ChurchHaving given John Terry time off in Dubai to try to salvage his marriage, Chelsea are being urged to take long-term steps to ensure their players’ spiritual welfare. The Rev Alan Wright, who provides support for Sc**thorpe Utd, says Chelsea should take on a chaplain as Mandrake learns of plans to extend pastoral support for players across the country. “I would think Chelsea are in need at the moment,” says Mr Wright. “Some of the top clubs don’t have chaplains, but Manchester United does. "I equate a lot of the antics that we all read of with money. John Terry is undoubtedly a very good footballer, a very good leader, but is he really worth the reputed sums that he is paid? "At the top level there is too much money. It is no secret that footballers are not necessarily gifted with the highest levels of intelligence.”Matt Baker, the pastoral support director for English football, says there are 110 chaplains and the Football League is keen to extend its pastoral care. A Chelsea spokesman says a chaplain would be difficult because it is a club “that is proud of our multi-religious and multi-cultural background”. www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/7224763/Chelsea-need-a-priest-says-the-Church.html

We could do with an Exorcist for all the evil spirits around our club.
