But Raheem Sterling could still do it... Football League16 YEARS & 201 DAYS! Posted on: 29.01.2010 Kadeem Harris has become Wycombe Wanderers' youngest-ever player to appear in The Football League. Harris came off the bench during the Chairboys' Boxing Day clash against Yeovil Town. At 16 years and 201 days, Harris beat the record set by former apprentice Ikechi Anya - who made his debut in 2004 aged 16 years and 279 days. Kadeem has been at Adams Parks since he was 14. He said: "I'm really happy that the gaffer gave me a chance. "I tried to do what I know I can do, and also enjoy myself." Wycombe Head of Youth Richard Dobson is not surprised by the midfielder's development. Dobson said: "We're really pleased to see Kadeem make the step up to the first team. "He's got a great opportunity to progress in his career, and follow the example set by former apprentice Matty Phillips. "I'm just annoyed I can't pick Kadeem for the Youth side anymore!" I'd love to see Raheem play for the first team before Gianni sells him.

But it's tough to play a kid when you're in a relegation fight!
