According to ex-QPR Report Moderator, Scott Jones: QPR FC Chairman, Gianni Paladini was highly emotional yesterday at post-match event. twitter.com/#!/scottjonesy Maybe some of the people on this site were even there?

How soon before the thank you GP posts start and how we only got the players that made the difference because of GP. Think we'll be hearing his name mentioned more and more now. After all it's not fair that Warnock and the players get all the credit now is it?

If Scott means the Springbok then well done to Gianni for turning up to the Grace Charity Darts event though if he did get there it was after we left

We all know GP has taken a lot of stick over the years, some of it justified other times perhaps not. I have always tried to be objective in my opinions and see the whole picture before judging. Yes he's made mistakes, as I suppose do all chairman, but I can see he's got his heart at the club and has brought in business people as well as Warnock that has completely turned us around, so for that he deserves some credit.

I was in tears and moved by the Dean Richards tribute at Wolves.
Paladini deserves credit and denigration, that is clear.
As for Colin, he came hear because of Ishan and Amit, he has also made it clear that he chased the players he wanted and got them.
I don't really worry either way for Paladini, don't mind if he's there, don't mind if he's not. As long as he doesn't interfere. The best thing he did was annoy PHart by interfering and getting players he didn't want, for that, I thank him.

I'm pretty sure he has already been acknowledged for that. Being credited for what others have done needs to stop. So let's save our praise for the people that have got us where we are now, despite some of the going ons over the last few years.

The Springbok was packed to a man and they all applauded him and started singing QPR songs. Must have been a good 200-300 supporters in there. Never seen him before come to the Springbok, but considering how many try to create a perception over the internet of the man, you can't argue with the warm reception he got. I think much of what is said over internet is based from fans who don't go or get false impressions via others using messageboards. As for Scott Jones, he'll have to introduce himself, never heard of him ;D

Superkat, someone has to agree those players Warnock wants and it obviously ain't Bernie, unless of course you are insinuating he knows his football.
Bernie would pay the wages, he'll let Gianni and Neil get on with it.

What type of person would turn a fund raiser for a young girl into propaganda for Gianni? That is seriously wrong and shows that there is no level to which they won't stoop. Still, no surprises there.

Watching big tough footballers, both current and past, break down was a tad unnerving. James Beattie and Don Goodman were very very emotional. Hard afternoon but a great send off.

The focus of the event was fundraising. The focus of some of the posts about the event centre upon Gianni. Just accept thats what happened. I'm not making it up.

I stand corrected, much respect there, Lakshmi took his hat off, unzipped his coat and Amit gelled his hair and put his shades on prior to greeting Gianni, top stuff.
